Laura followed her family into shooting starting with smallbore at age 13 with Nottingham City Rifle club. Moving on to fullbore a year later, she also joined Sheffield Rifle Club to give her opportunities to shoot, a plan which clearly paid off as she became club champion in 2015. Laura has shot every Imperial Meeting since 2009 and has regularly shot for her county, Nottinghamshire since 2012. Other shooting achievements include winning the under-19 prize at the Ibis open meeting in 2013 and the under 25 prize at both the spring and autumn Gloucestershire open meetings held at Bisley.
Laura has also been selected for the 2017 NRA team to the Channel Islands and so will have already toured in May by the time of this later tour to Guyana, which will be her first England appearance.
