He has been fortunate enough to represent England or Great Britain in various guises in Australia, Canada, Jersey, Kenya, Namibia, New Zealand, Scotland, South Africa and Zimbabwe.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This tour will be Derek\u2019s 5<sup>th<\/sup> to South Africa and 3<sup>rd<\/sup> to Kenya, which he also visited on a church trip to support local partners in 2006.\u00a0 Keenest at long range and in a team environment, he also spends a lot of time in match rifle.\u00a0 Aside from coaching and shooting (usually in that order), Derek is an independent consultant in the areas of finance &amp; corporate governance, and an experienced Group Company Secretary and charity trustee.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Derek began his shooting in the cadet force at RGS Guildford, moving on to the Athelings in 1991, Oxford University over 1991 \u2013 1994 and the Surrey county team since the late 1990s.
