Ben has been shooting for more than 20 years, having taken it up as a student at the University of Oxford. He now regularly shoots with the NLRC and with Cheshire, having served as captain of both teams. A long-serving supporter of English shooting, Ben can often be found helping with the National (although he has yet to be selected to shoot), was selected for the Lions programme in 2021-22, and is proud that half of his England caps have been achieved as an Adjutant. Ben has previously toured to the Channel Islands with the NRA and OCRA, and to Canada as a member of the Great Britain team. He looks forward to supporting this England team from back home. Away from the ranges, Ben is Head of Technical for Ayming, an innovation funding consultancy where he leads a team of tax advisors and consults on government policy. He lives in north London, maintains an armchair interest in cricket and rugby, and enjoys a wide and eclectic selection of music.
