David Colegate came to full bore shooting around 7 years ago following a fun visit to Bisley with a black powder club. He discovered he could hit the target and steadily committed himself to the sport since then.
His development within shooting has grown from Gloucestershire County shooting, Channel Islands Team 2024, English Lions Team 2025, England Reserve to England Touring Team 2026. David is also the team Adjutant on the 2026 NRA Channel Islands Team where he is proud to be able to introduce the Islands to the next generation of competitive shooters.
His proudest moment came at this years Imperial meeting when he won the Barlow cup with a 75.14 (50.10 to count) at 900yds and a HPS at 1000yds during the long range county shoot.
David makes time to do some work between shooting, motorhome holidays and running a house clearance company in Bristol.
