Adam is delighted to be returning to the West Indies and gaining his first management credentials where he earned his first England cap back in 2017 under the expert (shooting and social) tutelage of Dick Winney. Having toured with the rest of the management team then and/or since leaves him hoping that he’s as qualified for the role as the Captain clearly thinks he is!
All a far cry from his entry to the sport, Adam first shot as an Army Cadet with the No.8 .22 and Cadet GP rifles, moving on to Target Rifle at the University of Nottingham. He now shoots with various clubs, Police Sport UK, Hampshire RA and has squeezed in a handful of club, NRA and England tours along the way. He otherwise finds himself variously volunteering (or being volunteered) including as Secretary for the English XX, British Young Shooters Association MR Captain and spots of club, cadet and other university/young shooter coaching. When not shooting, Adam is…… usually shooting, typically either considerably closer to (smallbore) or further from (MR) from the target. He also often finds himself fixing “stuff” for people, including as part of the armourer team for his last two tours, a role which he anticipates reprising in 2026. He otherwise finds himself trying to herd a half-deaf spaniel around the Hampshire countryside, or occasionally attending work in the field of cyber/online crime (preventing & detecting rather than committing, though the latter is reportedly more lucrative).
