With Martin having previously served as Adjutant for 4 touring teams (2 x England, 1 x NRA and 1 x GB), the Captain thought him deserving of a promotion to Vice Captain, which he willingly accepted.
Whilst this will not be Martin’s first tour to the West Indies, he is very much looking forward to visiting new ranges with a new team and meeting new shooters from across the world.

Martin initially picked up a rifle with Preston Marine Cadets many years ago, both shooting and coaching to a respectable degree of success and has now gone full circle, finding himself as the National Coach for the Sea Cadet Corps.
During winter he can be found on Altcar ranges in the northwest of England, often on a bleak Sunday afternoon. On the ranges at Bisley, he can occasionally be seen driving his tuktuk round camp during the Imperial Meeting.
