John is now retired. He was a main board Director of a Group listed on the London Stock Exchange for over 20 years, having previously worked for Price Waterhouse, with whom he qualified as a Chartered Accountant, for 13 years.
He took up shooting as a sport over 40 years ago when he stopped playing rugby. He has been coaching for about 25 years. He has shot in the Queen’s final, the St. Georges final and finished in the top 50 of The Grand Aggregate and has coached with the Palma squad. He has shot in Canada, Australia, The Channel Islands and France. He is a regular coach with Gloucestershire.
Away from shooting, he enjoys sport and skis, cycles and has just returned to golf. He has two labradors, which involves a lot of walking!
