Amy began shooting smallbore while at the Perse School, before taking up fullbore at the University of Cambridge, where she is studying for a degree in Chemistry. Amy found form at Cambridge, quickly earning a half blue, followed by a full blue. She captained the university smallbore team to impressive victories, while personally placing second in BUCS and representing GBU21 at 50m.
Though her first love was smallbore, she now finds TR an equally thrilling challenge. After a difficult first imperial, Amy managed to place 154th in her second grand aggregate, and shortly after the meeting she was picked for the 2024 Lions squad.
Being Relatively new to team shooting, Amy has enjoyed the intense team training which the Lions has provided, as well as exploring new ranges in touring with RAFTRC to Jersey, and to Scotland with CURA. On the latter tour, Amy was especially pleased to represent England in the 2024 Lawrence Match. She is excited to be touring with England and looking forward to developing her team shooting on another new range in New Mexico.
