Jon learned to shoot at Reigate Grammar School and competed in his first Bisley meeting in 1992. Since then, Jon has enjoyed significant individual team and individual successes and has 27 ‘Big 5’ appearances to his name. Highlights include the Ballinger Belt (2010) and three Palma match gold medals. This year will be Jon’s first England tour since the European Long-Range Championship in Sennelager in 1998!
Jon is currently based in the USA and trying to visit as many landmarks as possible before returning to the UK in June 2025. He is assembling the team’s ammunition for the team matches.
Jon uses an RPA 2000 in a System Gemini stock, with a Benchmark barrel also fitted by Rob Nibbs.
