Rob’s passion for shooting began in his school cadet program, but like many, life took him on a different path for a while. It was thanks to his colleagues, Ian Ashworth and Phil Northam, that he rediscovered the sport. Trips to Bisley with the North Herts Rifles reignited Rob’s competitive spirit and he shot his first Imperial Meeting in 2019.
In 2023, Rob secured a spot on the NRA team for a tour of the Channel Islands. The Channel Islands tour proved to be a thoroughly enjoyable experience for Rob, and hopefully the first of many tours to come. He’s eagerly anticipating his first ever tour to the USA.
Off the range, Rob is a devoted family man. His two daughters keep him active and on his toes. In his free time, he enjoys cycling, swimming, running, and small-bore shooting.
