Having grown up spending summers at Bisley while his dad shot, Archie has always been surrounded by shooting. He began shooting himself at around 11 or 12 years old and moved into fullbore by the age of 14. Since then, he has earned selection for the Lincolnshire team, taken part in the GB U21 smallbore trials, represented Hampshire juniors, and was named Hampshire Junior Smallbore Champion for 2024–25.

Outside of shooting, he is currently training to become a Royal Marines Reservist, enjoys running and going to the gym, and is spending his gap year working at a hospital before starting a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Nottingham. Though this will be his first tour, he’s looking forward to gaining new experiences—and, when not thinking about shooting or fitness, he’s likely pondering the mysteries of quantum physics.
