This will be Alastair’s third shooting tour to South Africa and second with the England Rifle Team, having visited in 2009 and 2013. It will be his first tour to Kenya. Previous tours include Canada twice (1990 and 1991) and the Channel Islands with the NRA Team in 2002. In 2013 he was reserve for the GB Rifle Team to Canada. Alastair has shot for England in the European Long Range Target Rifle Championships three times and has been a reserve for England in the American Match (held in 2013 in South Africa) and the National Match (2013).
Outside of shooting, Alastair enjoys spending time with his young family, dog walking, cooking and entertaining. He is also a founding shareholder of The Phoenix Barrel Company Limited, which he established together with fellow England team members Tom Rylands and James Lewis in 2022.
