With the R&R done for the tour and everyone feeling fresh, we checked out of sweet waters and began the short(ish!) journey to Falcon Heights hotel, with some of the team revisiting the rhino sanctuary to feed Baraka one more time before leaving. On the way out of the Ol Pejeta conservancy, we took the opportunity to take a picture on the equator with a Northern and Southern counties divide for good measure!

Shortly after checking in, Sandford and some of the Kenyan police brought out rifles and kit to be rebuilt ready for practice the following day. Surprisingly there was only a small amount of armouring for Tom Rylands to do at this point in time (foreshadowing!)

In the evening, the team met to discuss the strategy for the next few days and how we would maximise our performance as a team. Everyone went for an early night as the next 3 days of shooting were what we had waited 3 and 1/2 years for. Bring it on!

Day 6 – “And Now For Something Completely Different”
