Bruce has been going to Bisley longer than he likes to remember and even when work commitments intervened, has usually managed to make at least one day of the Imperial meeting. In the past, he visited New Zealand with the first under-25 touring team and has more recently been on two NRA teams to the Channel Islands. His first GB cap was with the successful 2014 team to Canada and the USA, but this will be his first England touring team.
Away from the range, Bruce spent many years working amongst the idyllic dreaming spires of Oxford but gave that up to spend two and a half years on an extended sabbatical with his wife, driving around South America in a small yellow van. His other main interest is spending time outdoors, usually hanging from a rope on something vertical or falling off a bike on something bumpy.
