Henry Web[5542]Henry was introduced to the sport of rifle shooting from a very early age and completed his first overseas tour at the age of 3 when he accompanied his parents to New Zealand. Since then he has worked his way up through the cadet and university movement. Henry has well and truly caught the touring bug having completed 8 overseas tours at GB U19, GB U25 and full GB level. He considers himself extremely lucky to have been able to tour to a range of fantastic destinations including Canada, South Africa, Australia and the USA. Henry loves traveling and getting the opportunity to experience different places and cultures. This will be Henry’s first trip to Guyana and the West Indies, locations he is really looking forward to adding this to his list. Henry has enjoyed a successful shooting career so far, including having been a member of the 2015 World Championship winning GB team. 2016 then saw his biggest individual achievement, earning the silver badge for coming second in Her Majesty the Queen’s Prize, narrowly missing out by a point to three-time winner David Calvert. In and around his shooting, Henry manages to squeeze in a career as a chemist and currently works in product development for DNA sequencing.
