Phil started shooting at Stamford School aged 11 and migrated quickly into fullbore with the school CCF. Shooting improved once he joined the London University team and continued with NLRC and Lincolnshire, also serving as Captain of the latter. He has represented England in the National and European Long Range matches and enjoyed successful tours with the NRA CI Team 2012 and GB Team to USA & Canada 2014. Phil is very much looking forward to this first tour abroad with the England Team.
In his spare time, Phil works as an Orthopaedic Surgeon and spends as much time as possible at home with his wife and 4 sons, as well as regularly ferrying the latter to and from a variety of sporting activities, most recently including Target Rifle shooting at Bisley!
