Trevor grew up in the Northamptonshire countryside and began his passion for shooting at an early age, honing his skills using his sisters’ dolls as targets for his air rifle. After leaving education, his only shooting was at clays or rough shooting with a shotgun. The late 1980s saw an entry into the world of smallbore shooting, from which fullbore was a natural progression. Kingsbury Range, Staffordshire played host to his outings and his first Imperials were in 1992, 1993 and 1994. A decade of shooting wilderness followed, during which he established his business and earned a degree, keeping the interest alive by the occasional Altcar shoot, and the Imperial again in 2006 and 2007. Now established, with a grown-up family, he has not missed an Imperial since 2011 and in 2015 went on to make X class in the St. George’s Prize and win the Altcar Rifle Club Championship.
When not working or on the range, Trevor can be found plodding around the Dales on his Harley, or exploring and photographing the wilds of Africa with his wife, both at the mercy of their daughter’s off-road driving! Adventures include travelling un-mapped through Kenya and Tanzania in a 30 year old tent-topped Land Rover in search of the Masai Mara and the Marsh Pride Lions.
