The day, for some, started with an early beach walk and quick dip in the ocean. Footprints were the only thing left behind.
After breakfast, the majority met to walk to the dock for a trip out on The Niomi Bella where, after coasting along the shoreline, we were treated to a snorkel around a reef where we admired hundreds of different fish in their habitat.
The coral was beautiful, but, as one snorkeler found out, sharp!
The turtles were huge and friendly.
Lunch on the boat was lobster. Simply amazing.
Other members took advantage of the local coffee shop for their daily ‘shot’ of caffeine and a swim out to a floating bar.
Tough day all round.
Evening meal was spread around the hotels eateries. The food, yet again, was fantastic. Although the pizzeria did have an electrcal shortage, all the diners struggled on through.
The sundowners was a much quieter affair which was probably down to the fact there was no DJ.
Early nights all round.
As the diarist concludes, a quote of the day was provided:
“Until you look for your keys, they’re not really lost, are they?’
