Overnight heavy rain gave way to a nice hot morning. Some went diving early. Your diarist did not partake as his ears go pop looking at the sea but apparently it was great with big stingray, lobster, turtle, and lots of colourful fish on view. Indeed it was…  Turtlely amazing.
The rest chilled out in a fairly tropical way which was rather rudely interrupted by a torrential storm. When Archie requested information on which way the rain was heading Ellie responded… “Downwards… its gravity.”
A group headed off after lunch to Grants Claremont Pineapple farm where they had a really fascinating tour by the resident pineapple farmer. Our own resident farmer had plenty of questions, being an irrigation specialist. After an hour the rest of the team were already looking forward to our next team irrigation (rum-based).
Suitably educated they moved on to Nelsons Dockyard for further colonial history before meeting up with most of the rest of the team for sunset at Shirley Heights overlooking English Harbour, serenaded by a Steel Band.
BBQ, beers and the Antiguan sunset. Another  perfect R&R finish with exception of one car that arrived back slightly deflated due the ever present potholes (yes, they are even here!).
