One of the major benefits of target shooting as a sport is that it is open to all, regardless of age, gender or disability. Appropriate accomodations where feasible can and always will be made to allow disabled shooters to compete on an equal footing. This can include for example, allowing a competitor to shoot from a table rather than from the prone position. The National Shooting Centre at Bisley Camp, where the majority of our matches are held, is also working hard to increase the number of facilities that are accessible to disabled shooters such as with the installation of overhead retrievable targets on Cheylesmore Range.
