The Club Championship is one of the club’s two main individual competitions shot concurrently with competitions in the NRA’s imperial meeting each year. The club championship focuses on short range shoots at distances of 300, 500 and 600 yards. It uses all scores from short range shoots in the Grand Aggregate  The winner receives a gold cross and the T. Sutton Challenge Cup. Second place receives a silver cross while 3rd to 10th place receive bronze crosses. There are special prizes of the Hodgson Challenge Cup for the top O or T class competitor and the Presidents Cup for the top Under 25 competitor. Bronze crosses are also available for the top T class and top under 19 competitors.

Entry into this competition is open to all members for the bargain price of £10 which includes entry to the Varley.  Entries are to be made before the day on which the Grand Aggregate starts.  As this is the premier short range championship for the club, entry into this is a prerequisite to be considered for selection in the National Match.
