Governing body of English Fullbore Target Shooting
This is our annual open prize meeting, for Target Rifle and F-class competitors. Held over the late May bank holiday weekend, it is open to both members and non-members.
One of the most historical matches not just in shooting but in all sport between the home nations. It is a real spectical.
As well as Target Rifle, the English Twenty Club also supports Gallery Rifle, one of the most popular and easily accessible shooting disciplines.
One of the big five international matches, this annual contest at Bisley pits the home nations against visiting teams from around the world.
Founded in 1864 the club has a rich history dating back to the volunteer force movement and the early years of the National Rifle Association
Despite a highly superior V count, England narrowly lost the National by 2 points, but won the Mackinnon by a handsome 10 points. Full result details can be found on the relevant “Competitions” page – team photos will be added
The annual Lawrence Match shot against Scotland was held over the weekend 19th/20th June during the Scottish National Meeting at Blair Athol. Scotland were victorious this year by 5 points – the detailed result can be found on the Lawrence
Owing to effects of COVID-19 on shooting events last year, only a web version of the 2020 Yearbook was published. The latest publication, which will be available in printed form, can be found in the members section of the web

It is with much sadness that we report the passing of Ken Day who died peacefully on Saturday 24th April after a long battle against illness. Ken had been a member since 1975 when he joined the Essex District before
It is with great sadness that we note the passing of our Patron, H.R.H. The Duke of Edinburgh who had been our Patron for 68 years. Our condolences go out to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and all the royal family.

It with deep sadness that we report the passing of Ted Molyneux this last weekend. Ted had been admitted to hospital in December with low blood pressure and it was hoped he could return home a couple of weeks ago.
