I’m honoured to have been elected as Captain of the English Team to compete at the European Long Range Championships, taking place over the weekend of 31st October – 1st November 2026 at Bisley. I’m delighted that David Rose has agreed to take on the role of Team Adjutant.
We are now seeking expressions of interest from anyone who would be keen to be considered for selection for the Team. The Team will consist of 12 firers, plus 3 reserves, shooting over 3 targets, with a Main Coach and 3 Target Coaches.
Team Match
Saturday 31st October
• 2 & 15 @ 900 and 1000 (AM)
• 2 & 15 @ 900 and 1000 (PM)
Sunday 1st November
• 2 & 15 @ 1000 (AM)
Individual Match
Sunday 1st November
• 2 & 15 @ 1000 (after the Team Match)
I’m keen to put together a team with a good breadth of experience and would encourage applications from both experienced England members and those who have not yet represented England, including England Lions representatives.
