Unusually this year, due to the impact of coronavirus, The Lawrence Match will be held at Bisley during the September Imperial meeting. This is a one of change for 2020 as the imperial meeting will have reduced numbers in order to maintain social distancing and the Lawrence Match has a smaller team size than the National Match which will not be held this year. The match will consist of 12 firers and will follow a kolapore course of fire (2+10 at 300, 500 & 600 yards).

It is anticipated that The Lawrence Match will return to its usual format at the Scottish Open in 2021.
