The England team under the captaincy of Bill Richards won the European Long Range Match held at Bisley over the weekend of 13th / 14th October. Conditions varied from warm sunshine to heavy rain making it at times very difficult for the shooters to get a decent sight picture.
In the Individual event held after the team event, Parag Patel was victorious in beating Martin Liversage by a single point. Although 19 individuals shot this event, only 3 were able to complete the full course of fire of 15 shots owing to the appalling weather conditions.
