Launching this year, The English Twenty Club have developed a new Talent Development Pathway aimed at all those shooters showing potential and who are currently either un-capped or have only been capped once for England. This is called The Lions and will be a Squad, selected by a dedicated management team who will be provided with elite level coaching by experts over a series of training weekends. The ultimate goal being to help those in the squad develop their full potential. Whilst there is no guarantee of England selection at the end of the program, we expect those who have completed it to be more capable individual and team shooters who will be ready to compete at that level.
Applications are now open for the 2017 squad and those interested should email lions@englishtwenty.org.uk for an information pack and application form. The deadline for applications is the 6th of September and the first squad training weekend will be the 28th of October 2017.
