In preparation for the Commonwealth Games next April in Australia, our England shooters have been competing in the Commonwealth Shooting Federation Championships at the Belmont Shooting Centre, Brisbane, Australia where the full-bore events of the Games will be held.

Congratulations to David Luckman on winning the Individual event, shot as a Queen’s I, II and III course of fire with a score of 399.39 and also for winning the pairs event with Parag Patel.  The Individual event finished on 6th November with the medal results:

Jim Bailey (AUS)                 398.42
Parag Patel (ENG) was 4th on 396.38

The Pairs competition was held on 1st and 2nd November with the gold medals going to England represented by David Luckman and Parag Patel.  Final medal results for the pairs are:
England    589.60
Australia   587.46
Scotland   586.63
